Following the success of Nicholson's, Mr. Sanders was offered the opportunity to develop a concept specifically for the Rookwood Commons shopping center in Hyde Park, a short drive from downtown Cincinnati near the upscale Hyde Park neighborhood. In December 2001, born out of his desire to create an authentic English pub, Sanders opened the Pub at Rookwood Mews. Since that day, the Pub concept has continued to grow rapidly. In late 2004, the Pub Louisville opened in the Fourth Street Live project downtown, followed by the 2005 opening of the Pub at Crestview Hills in Northern Kentucky , and the Pub Lexington in December 2006.
The Polo Grille was also created in 2004. Located in Mason, a growing northern suburb of Cincinnati , on the site of the former Cincinnati Polo Club the restaurant offers upscale dining in a fun contemporary atmosphere, while paying homage to Cincinnati 's involvement in the history of the sport of polo. It joined many other new retail and restaurant establishments in a lifestyle center called the Deerfield Towne Center , near I-71 on Mason Montgomery Rd.
